Data we collect
Through the contact form we collect your name, email address, optionally your telephone number, and the content of your message. Separately, and only with your consent, we collect statistical data about use of the site: pages visited, time spent, device type and approximate location. We do not collect special categories of data through this site, and the form does not ask for documents or details about your case.
Use of cookies
The site uses cookies strictly necessary for its operation, together with analytics cookies provided by Google Analytics, which are enabled only after your consent. You can accept, decline or later change your choice through the cookie banner and through your browser settings. Declining non-essential cookies does not restrict access to the content of the site.
Purpose of processing
Data submitted through the form is used solely to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to arrange a consultation. Statistical data is used to understand how the site is used and to improve it. We do not use the data for profiling, behavioural advertising or automated decision-making, and we do not sell it to third parties.
Your rights
Under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and the right to object to processing, as well as the right to withdraw consent for non-essential cookies at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian supervisory authority for personal data protection (ANSPDCP).
Data security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data: encrypted transmission, restricted access to incoming messages, and periodic review of security settings. Please do not send confidential documents or details of your case through the contact form; those can be discussed in a consultation.
Retention periods
Messages received through the form that do not lead to instructions are kept for no more than 6 months. Where a case is taken on, data is retained for the duration of the engagement and afterwards in accordance with the legal and professional obligations applicable to lawyers. Statistical data collected through Google Analytics is retained for a maximum of 26 months.
